Orbit & Witherbees Team up on Digital Signage

Flint MI, Orbit Digital Media installed it’s first digital billboard at the Witherbee’s Market Deli. The first urban grocery store to hit the bricks in downtown Flint Michigan, Witherbee’s opened it’s doors in early 2010 with a full service deli and convenience grocery, including fresh produce from local farmers!

What is a Digital Sign?

Unlike traditional billboards that are static, and difficult to change, digital signs are very much DYNAMIC, easy to change with the click of a mouse, miles and miles away from the sign location.

There are indoor and outdoor digital signs. Outdoor digital signs are probably what you’ve come to notice the most. Along highways starting to replace the traditional billboard landscape you’ll see bright LED lights flickering from one ad to the next, sometimes with animation.

Indoor digital signs are our specialty. An indoor digital sign consists of a flat panel, LCD television, a PC and remote playback capabilities, including animation, web pages, RSS feeds, weather and sports tickers, you name it we can deliver it. Walmart is a great example of in store digital signage, lighting up the entry way to point of purchase displays that are designed to motivate and inform shoppers.
